To receive e-mails at your Naples-Digital-Services Exchange mailbox
you need to: First, setup forwarding while your DNS
changes take affect (24-48 hours) so that no e-mails
get lost. Second, change your mail (MX) record
to the Naples-Digital-Services mail servers so that e-mails are
delivered immediately to your new mailbox.
- Forwarding: most ISP's have a control panel where
you can setup a
forwarding
address;
otherwise
you
will
have
to
contact your administrator or your ISP directly.
Setup forwarding from your current e-mail account(s)
to your
@Naples-Digital-Services.com
e-mail address. Your @Naples-Digital-Services.com e-mail address
can be found in both your welcome setup e-mail and
in your Naples-Digital-Services.com Control Panel.
- MX Record: Ask the company that controls your DNS (typically your website hosting company or your domain registrar) to change the
MX record for your domain. If they do not, you
will need to use a service such as Domain-DNS.com or ZoneEdit.com to
take control of your DNS and make the changes yourself.
Here are the Mail or MX servers for Naples-Digital-Services.com:
- Primary / priority = 0; Server Name = mx1.MyOutlookOnline.com
- Secondary / priority = 5; Server Name = mx2.MyOutlookOnline.com
- NOTE: do *NOT* make the priority the same for both MX servers as this will cause loss of e-mail. The Priority/preference number for mx1 must be lower than that of mx2.
